Orange County has been Bernie Rivers’ home since 1977. For nearly five decades, he has lived alongside the families, small-business owners, public servants, and neighbors who make this county strong.
That history gives Bernie more than familiarity with a map. He understands Orange County from the inside out—its cities and villages, its growing neighborhoods and rural communities, and the different public-safety needs that come with each one.
Bernie has watched the county grow and change while staying connected to the people who call it home. He believes effective leadership begins by listening, being present, and understanding what residents experience every day.
His campaign for Sheriff is grounded in that local knowledge and in more than 40 years of law-enforcement and public-service experience. Bernie’s career has required sound judgment, high professional standards, and respect for both the public and the officers who serve it.
